It seems every day there's a new website that launches in regards to the real estate industry. One that's interesting and is actually being used as a marketing tool by real estate professionals is www.walkscore.com. The site asks the user to enter an address in the search bar and will process how easily you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, parks, schools etc. The scale goes from 1-100 and the higher the score the better the walkability. As gas prices seem to remain high and traffic a continual battle in the region, not having to get back into a car certainly is a refreshing option. Next time your browsing the web, give the site a try and see what your Walk Score is for your home.
